There’s a reason why bards tend to populate my stories. Music has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started piano lessons at the age of 7 and picked up a few other instruments along the way. I earned an undergraduate degree in music education and taught for several years. These days, my primary musical outlet is Providence Singers, an auditioned choir that performs with the Rhode Island Philharmonic. I also maintain ChoirNews.org, an online calendar and monthly newsletter for choral music in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts.
