Wenceslas,"a short history of the 10th century duke of Bohemia whose
life and good works inspired the Christmas carol.

for publication in the anthology Catopolis, edited by Martin
Greenburg and Janet Pack. (Daw, 2008)

My story, "Dead Men Tell No Tales," is set in early 17th century Newport, Rhode
Island, when the town was a center of piracy and the slave trade.
